365 Days of Voters is a visual diary created by artist Deborah Aschheim in partnership with LA County Registrar-Recorder and Dept of Arts & Culture.
It’s easy, instructions are below. Projects will be posted on Instagram to inspire people to vote.
- Fill out the Photo/video release:
- Make sure you are OK giving me permission to use your image, then print, sign and date the form. Electronic signature is OK, or phone camera picture of the form.
- Include your email if you’d like me to send an image of the drawing and let you know when your post is live.
- At the bottom of the form, write a sentence or 2 about why you vote, who inspires you to vote, why voting is important.
- Take 2-5 headshots of yourself, looking straight at the camera. It’s probably best if someone else takes the picture, but a selfie is OK.
- Head and shoulders only
- In focus
- Send the pictures to deborahaschheim@gmail.com at FULL RESOLUTION—at least 2 MB per JPEG.
- If the combined file size is over 10 MB, you can send to me at deborahaschheim@gmail.com using wetransfer.
- Invite anyone you know over age 16 to participate—registered voters or “future voters”.
