DAOU Vineyards, perched atop DAOU Mountain in Paso Robles, California, is renowned for its exceptional wines and breathtaking views. Founded by brothers Daniel and Georges Daou, the estate has become a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts, and as you can see from my photos, I had the best time on my visit.

Wine Excellence

DAOU’s wines consistently receive high praise from critics:

• 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon: Described as full-bodied and juicy, with notes of blackberry, cassis, and dark chocolate, this wine showcases the depth and complexity characteristic of DAOU’s offerings.

• 2022 Pessimist Red Blend: Earning a 92-point rating from Wine Enthusiast, this blend highlights DAOU’s skill in crafting balanced and flavorful wines.

The winery’s commitment to quality is evident across its portfolio, making it a standout in the Paso Robles region.

Unparalleled Ambience

Situated at an elevation of 2,200 feet, DAOU Vineyards offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Visitors often remark on the stunning scenery and the luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere of the tasting room. While tastings start at $40, the experience is considered well worth the price for the quality of wine and the delicious ambience.

Recognition and Partnerships

DAOU’s reputation extends beyond the vineyard:

• The winery was selected as the exclusive wine partner for LIV Golf, showcasing its prominence in both the wine and broader lifestyle sectors.  This partnership reflects DAOU’s commitment to excellence and its appeal to a discerning clientele.
