The Indiana Jones franchise has a mixed reputation, with Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade being widely upheld as some of the greatest films ever made, while Temple of Doom and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are often thought to be mediocre, or outright terrible.
