The clothes were designed by competition winners who entered the Her Universe Geek Couture fashion show at last year’s Comic-Con in San Diego. The winning pair, Amy Beth Christenson and Andrew MacLaine, then worked with Her Universe founder Ashley Eckstein.
“It’s been such a pleasure to work with Amy and Andrew to create this line from their initial sketches to the final product sold in Hot Topic stores,” said Eckstein. “Geek fashion is a trend that’s here to stay.”
The collection will be available at Hot Topic in mid-May.
