NASA has discovered Water on Mars!
“Mars is not the dry, arid planet we thought,” NASA’s Jim Green announced. “Under certain circumstances, liquid water has been found on mars.”
It may help explain dark streaks, known as recurring slope lineae, that periodically appear on the planet’s surface.
“Soon, I hope we’ll be sending humans to the red planet to explore, and science will be leading the way,” scientist John Grunsfeld said. “The discovery we’re talking about today is most exciting because it suggests it would be possible for life to be there today.”
